After graduating with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, John joined Macchi Engineers in 1985 as a Design Engineer working under the close supervision of Anselmo John Macchi the founder of Macchi Engineers and James Brockman. He worked on a diversified range of projects from the inspection of small structures to the design of foundations and superstructures for parking facilities as well as large industrial and commercial buildings. Mr. Brochu worked closely with the DEEP on the rehabilitation of numerous dams throughout the State of Connecticut.

Mr. Brochu became Principal in 2014 and is currently retired.

We thank John for his Leadership and Wisdom throughout his 38 years and as a Brilliant Team Leader at Macchi Engineers. We wish him an amazing retirement!
