Lawrence and Memorial Hospital Addition

Project Hightlights:

New London, CT – Macchi Engineers provided the structural design services for the construction of a new 4,500 SF single-story addition on top of the existing 3-story Ambulatory Care Center that was originally built in the late 1980s. The Ambulatory Care Center was designed to support the gravity loads from three future floors. The project was completed using BIM and was a fast-track design. The design of the new addition required complete seismic and wind analyses of the existing Ambulatory Care Center.
